Job Purpose:
We are seeking a Payable Accountant to join our vibrant team and help us to spread the joy of gardening! If you have relevant experience and are passionate about sustainable living and making a difference, we would love to have you on our team!
Essential Responsibilities:
- Under supervision, assist in processing accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment preparation.
- Reconcile accounts payable records by verifying supporting documents and ensuring accurate financial entries.
- Review and organize financial data related to accounts payable to support cash flow management and process improvements
- Ensure that accounts payable activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and accounting regulations.
- Support the implementation of policies and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency in the accounts payable process.
- Assist in updating and maintaining vendor records and payment information in accounting systems.
- Help prepare basic financial reports related to accounts payable, such as payment summaries and reconciliation reports.
- Communicate with vendors to respond to payment inquiries and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Master's degree in Accounting, Accountancy, or Taxation is required.
Job Location and Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time, on-site position based out of Tomball, TX.
- 13808 Boudreaux Road, Bldg. #2, Tomball, TX 77377
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Lunch break 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
