Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and supporting schedules
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate general ledger coding
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and CAM reconciliations
- Work closely with property management and asset management teams
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Utilize Yardi to manage all property-level accounting functions
Requirements:
- 3+ years of property accounting experience in commercial real estate
- Proficiency with Yardi is required
- Experience managing the financials for multiple properties
- Strong understanding of real estate accounting principles, CAM reconciliations, and budgeting
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
