Job Details

We're seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee plant-level purchasing, materials planning, and inventory control. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective flow of direct and indirect materials to support production across multiple manufacturing sites. This position does require once a month travel on average to other domestic plants for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead purchasing and materials planning for production and MRO needs
• Optimize inventory levels using ERP, Kanban, and cycle counting methods
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive supplier performance, compliance, and cost savings
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, and ERP master data accuracy
• Support RFx processes and local sourcing strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement/materials management in a manufacturing environment
• Strong ERP (SAP or equivalent) and Microsoft Office skills
• APICS or CPM certification preferred
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities
