American Electric/Olgoonik is an Equal Opportunity EmployerJob Overview: Island of KauaiThe Project Manager in the Electrical Division is a critical leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of administration, labor, material, and company assets on assigned projects within the AE Construction Mission. This position is based on the Island of Oahu and requires a dynamic individual capable of ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager will be the key point of contact between the company, clients, and on-site teams, ensuring that all project goals are met while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.Primary Responsibilities:Communication with Leadman/Foreman/General ForemanOverall project performanceClient relationshipContract review and development of BudgetProject objectives, policies, proceduresManage change ordersMaintain project logs and schedulesMonitor construction activities with Foreman to ensure project is on schedule, in compliance with the contract documents, and within budgetRepresent American ElectricPrepare monthly financial reportsManage procurement and subcontractorsEnforce AE company policies, procedures, and standardsRead and interpret instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, and written instructionsAble to identify issues and help come up with solutions with Foreman/General Foreman.Train and develop project support staff providing growth opportunitiesEnsure timely paymentSupervisory Responsibilities: This position is responsible for supervision of assigned employees and subcontractors.Education and/or Experience:7-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a management role overseeing large-scale electrical projects.A bachelor's degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field is required.Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred.Objective Measures of Performance:Financial – Project BudgetSafety – Qty of Lost Time Incidents, AE Safety Audit ScoreClient Relations – Provide Value to our ClientsKey Targeted Results (KTR):Financial – Projects meet or beat Budget.Safety – No lost time incidents, AE Safety Audit Score of XX or above.Client Relations – Promoter NPS, Client Recommendation Letter.Proficient with Microsoft Suite products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook software.Demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.Ability to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.Location: Island of KauaiDivision: AE ConstructionReports To: Vice President OperationsSalary: $80K to $110K DOE with Incentives & BenefitsEmail Address: please email your resume to ...@americanelectric.comPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
