Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Proccess Engineer to join our GOM/GOA Operations team. This position requires interface with Operations, Production Engineering, HSE and other functions, and is responsible for providing technical support to the production facilities, advising on process and production optimization and supporting the integration of brownfield development projects. This role will report to the Surface Engineering Manager for the Gulf of Mexico and will work on a team of 7 other engineers of various disciplines. This role is based in Houston, Texas and will be in-office 60% of the time. This role may require travel, up to 5% of the time, to the offshore platform, and this person needs to be able to complete necessary offshore safety trainings.
Must have:
Bachelor's Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering, or relevant Engineering degree
10+ years of industry experience
5+ years of supporting oil and gas production facilities
Experience with offshore operations and surveillance of a live (operations) facility
Working knowledge of Root Casuse Analysis (RCA) and P1/P2 Data Trending and Analyses
M.O.C (Management of Change) Experience
Working knowledge of Process Safety, including HAZAP, LOPA, HAZID, and more
Ability to complete offshore safety requirements if/when traveling to offshore asset.
