Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Talent Lead with 7–10 years of progressive experience across the full spectrum of Talent Management. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in succession planning, organizational development, learning and development (L&D), talent assessments, skills gap analysis, and other core talent strategies. This role requires strong corporate experience and the ability to operate in a hybrid work environment with occasional local travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full talent management lifecycle for the organization.
  • Design and implement succession planning strategies across key departments.
  • Partner with leadership to assess organizational capability, identify talent gaps, and build effective solutions.
  • Develop and deploy L&D initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Facilitate talent assessments and leadership development planning.
  • Use data and insights to drive strategic workforce planning.
  • Support organizational development initiatives to improve employee engagement, performance, and retention.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, DEI, and business leaders on enterprise talent strategy.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, or a related HR function.
  • Proven experience in a corporate environment; preference for mid-size to large company backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing talent strategies that align with business goals.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, succession planning frameworks, and L&D program design.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Work Model

  • Hybrid – 2–3 days per week onsite in the Houston office.
  • Local travel required for leadership engagements, training rollouts, and site support.
