This position requires discretion and independent judgment in the execution of projects.Your ImpactProject Proposal and budget developmentManaging large budget Generation Projects for multiple disciplinesResponsible for the execution, coordination, schedule, and maintaining integrity of assigned projects, including compliance with contractual requirements, as well as acceptable engineering/design practices and quality controlResponsible for maintaining corporate and generation division quality proceduresMust be able to organize and manage projects to meet or exceed the scheduled time frame, budget, and other related goalsWill regularly interact with clients, so must be able to communicate effectively and resolve technical and commercial project issuesThe candidate will be responsible for business development, developing proposals, and making presentationsExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.Projects may be domestic or international so some travel may be requiredWho You AreRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in EngineeringMinimum of 12+ years of related work experienceExperience in the EPC industry with a focus on power plant design workExperience in a wide range of power plant technologies is valued including biomass, municipal waste, geothermal, hydrogen production and applications, carbon capture, BESS, hydro, wind, solar, gas-fired and/or coal – subject matter expertise is less important than the ability to lead and manage complex projectsGood understanding of commercial terms and conditions and ability to negotiate the sameAbility to work independently with minimum supervisionExcellent communication skills and team playerProven ability to estimate, scope, schedule, and budget projects and keep projects on track in all these areas post-awardCommitment to high-quality work and maintaining the professional reputation and client relationships that bring repeat businessProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.Preferred QualificationsProfessional Licensed Engineer#LI-PR1#J-18808-Ljbffr
