ACCEPTING INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY AT THIS TIME
This position is responsible for the management and maintenance of the Conroe Tower, Madeley Building, Owen Theater, Conroe Municipal Center, Isaac Conroe Transportation Center, the old Sam Houston Elementary School, six Public Safety/Communication Radio Towers and several other City of Conroe facilities and grounds. Provides additional support to other divisions as needed. Attends meetings and manages contract negotiations for leasing of City owned property. Duties also include administrative assistance to the Deputy City Administrator and the umbrella of Community Development Departments.
Education and Experience:
Must possess an associate or bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or five years supervisory experience in a building management field. Ability to perform the maintenance duties as assigned.

The work is primarily active and may require ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: fingering, kneeling, lifting, mental acuity, reaching, speaking, talking, visual acuity, reaching, ladder climbing, balance, and walking.
