Sanderson Pipe's corporate office is located in Tennessee (Clarksville), with additional production facilities in Kansas (Pittsburg), Texas (Houston), and Florida (Sanderson). Sanderson Pipe supplies PVC pipe to wholesalers for the Southeast and Midwest markets.

Description

• Evaluate previous daily production and machine operating conditions.
• Direct and plan daily work schedule incorporating equipment preventative maintenance.
• Comply and ensure personnel are following safety policies and company procedures.
• Verify production paperwork for accuracy and completion in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and evaluate production scheduling based on sales projections to ensure there is an adequate inventory of supplies and staffing to meet production goals.
• Provide leadership and training to subordinates to promote continual growth in job, skill, and knowledge.
• Ensure that shifts are staffed adequately to meet production goals.
• Monitor product quality on a routine basis to ensure the finished product meets/exceeds NSF and ASTM standards.
• Evaluate plant operations to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize production down time.
• Process formulation tests to ensure a cost-efficient quality product.
• Responsible to prepare and conduct performance reviews for production supervisors in a timely manner.
• Promote good morale among personnel to encourage a teamwork environment.
• Generate Scrap Summary Reports.
• Attend daily production meetings and work closely with the Plant Manager.

Position Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Efficient typing skills with an emphasis on accuracy
• Ability to compile information and make decisions
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred but not required
• Five (5) years of supervisory/management experience required.
