Ignition Grid Management Analyst

Looking for passionate, self-starting team members who will challenge the status quo and always be willing to learn and contribute in new ways. This position requires active collaboration with field technicians or operators, engineers, IT development and support teams, and other stake holders to deliver software solutions that support the growth of the electrical infrastructure supporting upstream and midstream operations. In this role, you will participate in all aspects of ADMS Engineering, including work planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Your role: Primary Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with vendors and project team to implement software solutions providing situational awareness and grid monitoring to ensure that electrical demands are met
  • Architect, implement, deploy, and support electrical grid management system software components
  • Assist operations team with user access and familiarity for grid management solutions
  • Continue to learn and share industry best practices with team members

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering or related field of study
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment with software developers and domain experts
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting electrical grid management, SCADA systems
  • Proficiency with the following software; OSI Monarch, Ignition, Red Lion Crimson
  • Proficiency with electrical IEDs and control devices from; SEL, Schneider, AllenBradley

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience building, deploying, and supporting SCADA HMIs
  • Prior work experience in the electrical distribution and transmission industry
  • Prior work experience with supporting control room environments
  • Experience configuring and maintaining electrical control systems
  • Experience working on teams following Agile software development methodolgies
  • Experience with design, test, implementation, deployment and support of control and SCADA systems

Your skills and experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting electrical grid management, SCADA systems
  • Proficiency with the following software; OSI Monarch, Ignition, Red Lion Crimson
  • Proficiency with electrical IEDs and control devices from; SEL, Schneider, AllenBradley
