This position will manage and oversee the implementation of Del Monte's maintenance program. In this role, will ensure that codes and regulations are met, assist in maintenance information, and manage maintenance staff. Accountabilities:Oversee and manage the Maintenance department within the monthly budget. Monitor/implement facility equipment maintenance/safety program to ensure that regulations are being met. Expedite and repair equipment on production floor safely, while complying with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines and procedures set forth by Del Monte. Work with vendors to implement proper inventory control of equipment parts. Identify parts replenishment resource and search for alternative sources when cost becomes excessive from current vendors. Implement layout and installation of new equipment. Maintain shop and equipment records, including preventative maintenance program and work orders.
