THIScar is a large, online/in-person hybrid auto retailer, allowing customers to browse and purchase pre-owned vehicles from the convenience of their own homes, and/or in person at our state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot facility in Houston, TX. We are also one of the largest auto buying services in the country.

This role is for our Kelly Blue Book - Instant Cash Offer buying department. We buy vehicles directly from the consumer across the country and are looking for the best of the best to help us with our continued growth. The KBB ICO Buyer Agent will be in charge of answering calls, emails, texts, and following up on leads from people interested in selling and or trading in their vehicles. The main job is to make customers happy by giving them the right information and going beyond what they expect.

Responsibilities – KBB ICO Buyer Agent:

• This is not a typical BDC role.
• Manage a high volume of customer inquiries through Kelly Blue Book Instant Cash Offer.
• Engage and follow up with the thousands of leads we receive monthly through phone, email, and text.
• Set appointments for customers to come in for a short vehicle appraisal and purchase.
• Work hand-in-hand with on-staff appraisers. This is an internal departmental collaboration.
• Leverage all software and data provided to confirm and offer the appraisal amount for the vehicle purchase. This is inclusive of our CRM, phone system, KBB and more
• Must be able to contribute to a positive team environment as this position is highly collaborative and transparent with all parties involved.
• This position will contact, engage, and follow up with all opportunities in the pipeline. As well as coordinate expectations with the customer and store appraiser.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements – KBB ICO Buyer Agent:

• KBB ICO experience is a MUST - we cannot consider applicants without proven KBB ICO success.
• A friendly/professional demeanor with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet daily goals
• Product knowledge/function is critical with all the different vehicles daily.
• Any auto industry experience a plus
• Some Saturdays required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance
