Description
Our client, a global leader in the IT industry, is seeking to hire a Renewal Specialist. This is a 100% REMOTE position. This position will pay $28.09/hr., and you will work from 8:00am-5:00pm M-F. This role starts as a 12-month contract but opens up future opportunities for contract extensions and full-time positions for top performers with this Technology industry leader. We are seeking a candidate who has prior experience in IT or the Technology sales renewal process.
Job Overview:
The Renewal Specialist focuses on driving high volume business through focus on renewals and unattached business utilizing prescriptive selling techniques. The Renewal Specialist builds relationships and educates the sales teams on the programs, resources, and pricing strategies available to secure on time, profitable renewals. You will focus on current customers and sales in an effort to consult and sell all renewal product options including multiyear and coterminous renewals. The Renewal Specialist will also assist in maintaining customer data and post-sales support including general administration support.
Key Responsibilities
The Renewal Specialist key area of responsibility is to support the pursuit and closure of a sale emphasizing the value of services. This includes but is not limited to quoting renewals, processing credit requests, handling new maintenance requests, and general sales requests.
