A leading commercial equipment company is seeking a Parts Specialist to manage inventory and ensure timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional with basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and strong organizational skills. Working collaboratively, the new team member will support operational efficiency by maintaining accurate inventory, processing orders, and providing technical assistance while ensuring timely deliveries, upholding customer satisfaction, and contributing to a well-organized warehouse environment.

Location: Northwest Houston
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Shift: M-F 6:45am - 5:00pm (this position will have overtime)

Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of refrigeration parts, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other components.
    • Track stock levels, ordering parts as needed, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Order Processing:
    • Receive and process customer orders for refrigeration and other parts.
    • Prepare and pack parts for shipment.
  • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases, and sales.
    • Update inventory databases and spreadsheets.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide technical assistance to customers regarding parts selection and availability.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Other Duties:
    • Assist with the physical handling of parts, including loading and unloading trucks.
    • Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.


Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills: Essential for managing a large inventory
  • Good communication skills: Necessary for interacting with customers and colleagues
  • Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems: Understanding of common parts and their functions
  • Computer proficiency: Ability to use inventory management software and other computer applications
  • Attention to detail: Accuracy in record-keeping and order processing is crucial
  • Physical stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy parts
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory and orders
